Annette fell behind where Lucky and Copper were, "He's been down in the dumps lately, hasn't he?" she whispered.

Lucky nodded. "He really loves her, like Buster loves Two-Tone. They both get pretty emotional when they think the one they love is leaving them." commented Lucky.

"I think Angel just needs to know that he really love's her. She's pretty lucky tho, she's got two boys that love her, as I've got none" said Annette.

Scamp gulped, taking a couple of steps back when he saw Dodger. He looked so much slicker, cooler... more interesting than he could ever hope to. It was no wonder Angel liked him. "But... I thought Angel liked him." Scamp said, briefly pointing at Dodger as he did. He didn't want to make Angel have to choose, but at the same time he cared for her a lot. He wanted her to be happy.

"I honestly don't think she know's what she wants, She just wants someone to love, and that would love her back" said Colette to scamp.

"And I want her to be happy, but..." Scamp found himself trailing off. He cared about Angel more than any other girl he ever knew, except for maybe his sisters and mother. Scamp felt complete when she was with him. They had shared that special night when he first joined the Junkyard Dogs, the spaghetti dinner, the walk through the park... he would never forget any of it. "I just... I really don't know what she wants." he sighed.

"You were her first love Scamp. You have more memories, than her and Dodger. Now are you going to go talk to her, or not?" she asked.

Scamp took a deep breath before answering, as if he was getting ready to take a plunge in icy cold water. He needed to be ready for anything Angel might have to say. "All right, I'll talk to her. Thanks for coming to find me." Scamp said.

Dodger trotted over to Angel. "Angel, I'm really sorry for not being around. I still love you, but if you want him. Then I'll set you free from me." he said as he lowered his head.

Annette looked over to Angel and heard her say, "Do you really love me? They why are you never around?" she asked.

"That's right," She thought, "I think I did hear that something happened with the dalmation puppies. I just never really put two and two together."

Scamp trotted up to Angel, ready to hear anything she might have to say. "I... uh... heard from Collette that you wanted to talk to me." he said sheepishly. He would just have to pretend Dodger wasn't there for the moment.

"I do" She nuzzled him, "I've just missed you"

Scamp's tail wagged wildly as Angel nuzzled him. He had missed being with her so much. Gratefully, he returned her nuzzle with one of his own. "I've missed you too, Angel. I... I didn't think you wanted to be around me anymore." he admitted as his ears drooped a tiny bit.
