Hey guys. Is it okay if I'm Toothless? :3 I hope I'm doing this right....
Name:
Toothless, the Night Fury.
Age:
Estimating at least a few decades. Never mentioned.
(If it was, tell me. Please.)
Height:
7'6, or so.
(Standing next to Hiccup, who I assume is around 5'6'...)
Weight:
Around, estimating... 1700 pounds.
(Dragons are heavy. But, not super heavy, seeing as they need to fly, and support riders.)
Physical Appearance:
Toothless, as a dragon--a Night Fury at that--has the typical "dragon-y" appearance. Stands on all fours, has hidden, jagged teeth, menacing claws, and a pair of large wings that could practically hide a full grown human male. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. Toothless is dark-blue, and--though he doesn't have horns--has certain 'spines' and 'ears' on his head. His tail--half of it--is ruined, and he cannot fly without his trusted, dear friend Hiccup.
Picture(optional):
Toothless with Hiccup.
(Couldn't find any good images with just Toothless. Sorry, guys.)
Personality:
Toothless's personality? Hiccup'd probably say "Intolerable at first", which is... pretty true. He's very apprehensive of new people, not trusting them at all at the beginning. But, show him some patience, and he'll trust you. He's very loyal with his friends, and tends to even gain a 'parental' personality... as seen with Hiccup, when they were eating fish. Technically, he forced Hiccup to eat the fish, but that's besides the point. Needless to say, Toothless is a very unique dragon... but, he's very nice, deep down.
History(give a brief description of your character's life up to this point):
Well, okay. A brief one? That can be arranged! Long ago, Toothless used to stalk Berk's 'food'... chickens, sheep... y'know, that sort of thing. But, he wasn't doing it for himself, no... he was doing it to feed the Red Death, so it wouldn't slaughter him, and the other dragons. That was something Toothless couldn't have happen.
One night, on a nightly run, Toothless was struck down... by a boy named Hiccup. One whole night, he stayed unconscious... until the boy came to finish what he had done. He stated a few things--Toothless couldn't believe this squirt was really a viking... but, that's beside the point. After a few moments of the teen going to stab him in the heart... he just cut him loose. Well, for that, Toothless pinned the guy down, yelled at him, and tried to flee.... only to fail.
A few weeks went by, and it became apparent that he could no longer fly. This terrified Toothless. After all, a dragon that couldn't fly was a dead dragon. But, for some weird reason, guess who came along to help him? The boy. Apparently, his name was Hiccup. What a name. Eventually, after a few offerings of fish, and kindness... Toothless warmed up to him, trusting him.
When Astrid discovered Toothless, Toothless actually thought she was attempting to harm Hiccup. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to fly without Hiccup, he tried to defend him, only for Hiccup to stop him. After a few words... he flew off with her. Toothless laughed inside at Hiccup's words: "Thanks for nothing, you useless reptile." Ah, good times. But, eventually, they knocked some sense into her brain.
Later on, once again... Stoick, Hiccup's Father discovered him. Well, Toothless breaking into the fight to save Hiccup's life was because of it, but... he was dragged out to the island where the Red Death was being held, chained to a boat. As they got closer, Toothless wished he could scream "stop this" or "this is a terrible idea" or...something. But, chances are, that stubborn viking wouldn't have listened.
When the Red Death emerged, Toothless thought it was the end... especially when the boat was set aflame. In all honesty, he had no regrets... but, he didn't want to die. But, then... Hiccup and the others came, to rescue him, and the dragons. The craziest part was... Stoick came to save him, too. Toothless then knew it was time to fight the infamous Red Death, and save both Vikings, and dragons.
He, paired with Hiccup, valiantly defeated the Red Death... at the cost of Hiccup's leg. Toothless, as they fell, tried his very best to protect Hiccup, his best friend. As he seen Stoick walking closer, he forced himself to show that his boy was alive... or, as Gobber said, "He saved most of him." Heh. Funny. After Hiccup got his fake leg, Toothless helped him walk into the new world, where dragons and vikings were allies... and that, is his life summed up.
Allies:
Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and most of the viking population. And, you know, the whole dragon population. Though, he doesn't really trust the twins, he finds Fishlegs annoying at times... and, Astrid? Too forward with things. He sometimes thought Hiccup was too cowardly for his own good, but that changed when they beat the "Red Death". Toothless trusts Hiccup with his life.
Enemies:
The Red Death, and... well, anybody, or anything, that causes him or Hiccup (or any of Hiccup's friends) to be endangered.
Love Interest(s):
... wha? Not known. Toothless hasn't shown any real attraction to anybody yet.
Sample Post(In character, at least two paragraphs):
Ah, what a beautiful day in Berk. The sun was shining, the water was glittering...and probably filled to the brim with delicious fish! Yum. Toothless could hardly wait! One problem--where was Hiccup? ... probably out with his 'mate', Astrid. They were mates, right? No, wait. Vikings called them "girlfriends". Right. Toothless needed to learn the difference between that one.
Oh well! Not like Hiccup would ever hear him.
"That guy is a Hero, yet was once the black sheep.
" Toothless thought, cat-like eyes wide as he stared into the water, watching the fish swim by. He went to grab one, instantly laughing to himself. Well, it sounded like a laugh. Dragons were odd to humans, unfortunately--hilariously, though, humans were strange to dragons! Guess the feeling will always be mutual. "Hmm, he is pretty late though. Should I be worried?"Name:

"That guy is a Hero, yet was once the black sheep.
Toothless brushed the thought off, continuing to try and catch his fish. Gah, it kept getting away! Toothless tried again, giving what looked like a pout as he started splashing the water wildly. See, these were the points where he was glad Hiccup wasn't around. Knowing him, he'd never stop laughing at him. Then again, Hiccup did some things that made Toothless laugh, even if it was inwardly...
Wait. What was that sound? Toothless looked back, at first giving a curious glance, assuming it was Hiccup. If it was, he wondered what took him so long, and what he wanted to do that day...
